The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) was asked by the Canadian Government to submit a proposal on the future of Canadian content in a digital world. Instead of just submitting a white paper the CBC decided that the most effective way to communicate its digital future would be to create a digital representation of their thoughts. In 4 short weeks, and with a skeleton crew, a unique digital vision for the future of CBC was born.

Rather than reproducing the white paper verbatim we wanted the digital version to be a synopsis of the complete paper; pulling out the most salient points and adding context around specific examples when necessary.

The stakes for the CBC where high, they were asking for $400M in funding from the Canadian government. The proposal and site received widespread attention by the Canadian media. In fact, a number of hostile and supportive websites popped up extending the conversation beyond our expectations.
